Pricing

How much does custom software development cost?

A number on a web page is not a quote — nobody can price your project without knowing what it does. What we can publish is exactly what the price depends on, so you know what to ask. Of us, or of anyone else.

Every project is quoted at a fixed price, in writing, before we write a line of code. We do not bill open-ended hours: if we take longer than we estimated, that is our problem, not a new line on your invoice.

The diagnosis and the proposal are free and arrive within 24 business hours, with the scope itemised and the price closed. If the number does not work for you, that is fine and you owe us nothing — but you will at least have a real figure to compare against.

What does move the cost a great deal is the type of project and how long it takes to reach production. That part we can put in writing today:

Project typeTypical time to production
Custom web platform and SaaS developmentA first version in production takes 4 to 8 weeks. Later modules ship in 1–2 week iterations.
Landing page design and development that convertsLive in 1 to 2 weeks from scope approval.
Custom e-commerce and online store developmentA full store in production takes 4 to 8 weeks depending on catalogue size.
Mobile app development for iOS and Android6 to 10 weeks to a published app in both stores.
Custom business management softwareThe first module reaches production in 4 to 8 weeks. Later ones ship in 2–3 week iterations.
Process automation and systems integrationMost automations are running in 1 to 3 weeks.

What moves the price up

Integrations with external systems

Every system that has to be talked to adds cost: gateways, ERPs, e-invoicing, third-party APIs that are not always well documented.

Data migration

Bringing history over from Excel or an old system is almost never clean. Cleaning and mapping data is real work.

Fine-grained roles and permissions

Three profiles seeing different things is easy. Fifteen profiles seeing different things depending on document state is not.

Volume and concurrency

A tool for twenty people and one for twenty thousand are not built the same way, even when the screen looks identical.

Compliance and audit

Traceability, data retention and regulatory reporting where the sector demands it.

Questions about this service

Because hourly billing moves all the estimation risk onto the client and rewards the supplier who takes longer. A fixed price forces the scope to be properly defined before starting, which is where a project is actually won or lost.

Yes, the project is split into payments tied to deliveries. The exact schedule is in the written proposal, before you sign anything.

It gets quoted separately and you decide before we build it. It never appears as a surprise on the final invoice.
